I came to the U.S. with a Soccer scholarship and played goalie at Missouri Valley College, I still love to play and watch soccer. Then I continued with my Master´s degree at Arkansas State University and my Ph.D. at the University of Alabama. I'm currently a postdoctoral associate at the Odum School of Eoclogy at the University of Georgia. 

 I also picked up the guitar during lockdown and love to jam with friends!
